± .015 on Decimal Dimensions
± .032 on Fractions
± 1° on Angular Dimensions
Part Length Tolerances
± 1/32" for Lengths less than 72"
± 1/16" for Lengths from 72" to 120"
± 1/8" for Lengths from 10' to 16'
Longer Lengths
± .008 per foot of length for parts requiring pre or post punching with non-random end spacing
Straightness Tolerance, Bow, Camber and Twist
1/8" Maximum in 5' Length
End Flare Tolerance
All roll formed parts will have end flare. The amount of end flare is determined by material type, guage and part shape. End flare can be improved by adding a re-strike operation.
Greater tolerances than those listed above may be necessary for material in gauges lighter than 22ga (.030) or heavier than 8ga (.164)
